About AI Tag Cleaner
Why this exists
You edit a photo, maybe use one generative fill or an AI filter, and post it. The app quietly wrote a note inside the file saying AI was involved, and the platform reads that note and puts an “AI info” tag on your post. The comments stop being about the photo.
AI Tag Cleaner removes that note before you post.
What it does
- Reads the file and shows what is hidden inside: C2PA Content Credentials, XMP, EXIF (including GPS and camera data), IPTC and AI tool names left in text fields.
- Removes those blocks and copies every other byte as it is. JPEG, PNG and WEBP keep their format, dimensions and pixels exactly.
- HEIC photos are converted to JPEG, because most platforms and browsers work with JPEG.
- Cleans one photo or a batch of up to 10 and gives you a ZIP for the batch.
How it works
The cleaning runs in your browser, on your phone or computer. Your photos and their names are not uploaded to us. Our server only receives credit requests and basic usage events, never the photo itself, so your balance stays correct across devices.
What it does not do
- It does not touch visible text, logos or watermarks drawn on the image.
- It cannot remove invisible pixel-level watermarks such as SynthID, or any signal a platform detects from the picture itself.
- It does not change a label a platform has already put on a post you published.
